She was the captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She also won a gold team medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals in this competition. Raisman also won silver medals for individual all-around, as well as for the floor exercise.
