
Alexandra Rose Raisman was born May 25, 1994. She retired as an American artistic gymnast. She was the captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She also won a gold team medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals in this competition. Raisman also won silver medals for individual all-around, as well as for the floor exercise. Raisman also earned silver medals for the individual all-around as well as for floor exercise. She also is two-time champion at national level on floor exercise (2012 and 2015) as well as the 2012 champion of the national team on balance beam, and she has won five medals in the all-around at the national championships (silver in 2016, bronze in 2010, 2011, 2012 and also in 2015). In 2013 she was admitted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
