Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actor, singer, and model. She was the main female vocalist for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. The actress and singer was christened Apollonia by Prince and became one of the many female artists in the '80s that benefited from her connection with the Purple One. Patricia Kotero, born 1959 in Santa Monica California began her career as an actress and model. In the late 70s she was a guest on CHiPS. In 1984, she was selected to play the lead female in the film Prince's Purple Rain. During that period, he also changed his name. The actress also took over Vanity as well as the group Vanity 6 in the film.
